Top 10 Fantasy Running Backs

Alright I’m back from the three days of hell at Fort Dix, and I’m going to be talking about the top 10 fantasy running backs. Let’s just jump right into this.

10. Ahmad Bradshaw New York Giants RB: With the departure of Jacobs Bradshaw is going to see a lot more carries. Yes the giants drafted a running back early and yes he’s a good runner, but Bradshaw is the starter and will see most if not all the carries.

9. Steven Jackson St. Louis Rams RB: Jackson is one of the fastest power backs out there. With his speed and power safeties move out of the way. With the addition of Pead Jackson’s carries and yards will drop but touchdowns and longevity will rise.

8. Michael Turner Atlanta Falcons RB: Turner is going to have to carry the load again at rb carries wise. The little scat back Rodgers will take away some of his catches this year but hes too small to run up the middle. Turner will get pleanty of carries and most of the goal line touches which equals rushing touch downs.

7. Matt Forte Chicago Bears RB: Even coming off the injury to his knee Forte will still run Forte (strong in Portuguese). People think his carries will be down from last year due to the addition of carry stealing Michael Bush, but forte is just too good of a runner. He doesn’t get tired easy and he will take it to the house on an opening.

6. Frank Gore San Francisco 49ers RB: Gore coming from a great era of Miami Hurricane RBs has been a little injury prone in his time in the NFL. Last year he stayed healthy for the most part which is a good sign for this year. Gore will have to carry the team yes I know randy is now in san fran, but I don’t trust the arm of Alex Smith I have to see more from him. That team will run the ball down your throat and play great defense that’s san fran football.

5. Maurice Jones Drew Jacksonville Jaguars RB: One of the best running backs in the league Jones Drew is holding out as I type this. He would be higher on this list but holdouts usually don’t play well, but he is MJD and the heart and soul of that team. MJD will again, if he gets his contract, be the bulk of this offense. If he would of got his contract and been at training camp MJD would be first on this list.

4. Lesean McCoy Philadelphia Eagles RB: Shady is a great player to carry your team, but Andy doesn’t run the ball. Last year was a fluke and will probably never happen again as long as Andy is coaching this team. Now that I’ve said that shady is still a major part of the receiving corp. he will get more catches and receiving touchdowns this year due to the fact that Andy will call more pass plays, and Vick usually always looks for McCoy.

3. Darren McFadden Oakland Raiders RB: Like I said in my fantasy help blog D-Mac is going to be all by himself in the Oak back field no more Bush stealing his carries. This is his year and I believe he will stay healthy. He will be a great option due to his ability to make every defender miss. He will score in the passing game and rushing game. He will most likely be Oak’s number one receiver.

2. Ray Rice Baltimore Ravens RB: One of my favorite running backs. Rice is very hard to take down. His low center of gravity with his ability to place his hand on the ground to keep himself up is what makes him very dangerous. His ability to catch out of the backfield and the ability to hit sixth gear at any time rice should be the number two overall pick in most fantasy drafts.

1.  Arian Foster Houston Texans RB:  With the aggression and hatred for 31 teams that past up on him in the draft Foster wants to continue to prove them wrong. Foster is a pure power running back who can catch out of the backfield he can be the leading receiver and rusher for the Texans this year depending on Johnson’s health. This year Foster will dominate the rushing yards even with ben tate stealing some carries.

Appreciate all the support thank you all for reading. Top 10 WR tomorrow.
